Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
Do you know that you may be able to get industrial injuries disablement benefit if you have an accident which causes some ongoing disability. This may not need to be permanent but if the Government assessment office decides you are more than 14% disabled over a fixed period you will be awarded the benefit.
For a basic disability a pension of £29.16 is paid rising to £145.80 for 100% disability.
