Lawford Kidd client's accident claim for golf ball injury

Lawford Kidd client Anthony Phee gave evidence in his court case starting on the 4th October in the Court of Session, Edinburgh.

Mr Phee lost his left eye after being struck by a golf ball as he was walking between holes on Niddry Castle Golf Course.

He is pursuing a personal injury claim for compensation against the club and the golfer.

He gave evidence that he didn’t know the course and was following the people he was with.  He was an novice golfer and heard the shout of “fore” and put his hand up and the ball struck his eye.

The Court finished taking evidence on the 7th October and the Judge, Lord Brailsford, will issue a Judgement after considering the evidence.
